No Lumo account, ads, or tracking

Lumo Teleprompter does not require you to create a Lumo account. It does not include advertising, advertising tracking, or the sale of personal data.

Scripts and settings

Your scripts and app settings are stored locally on your device. Lumo does not operate a service that collects or stores your scripts.

Speech and Voice Follow

Voice Follow prioritizes on-device speech recognition. If on-device recognition is unavailable, Lumo asks for your consent before using Apple Online Speech. Lumo does not retain your audio or speech transcripts.

Camera and microphone

Camera Mode uses the camera only when you choose to use it. Voice Follow and audio features use the microphone only with your permission. You can change camera, microphone, and speech recognition permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Remote control on your local network

When you turn on Remote, Lumo provides a local HTTP and WebSocket controller on your local network. Pairing uses the app’s local pairing flow. The remote controller receives only the metadata needed to control playback, such as script title, status, speed, and position. It does not receive script body text, audio, speech transcripts, or video. You can turn Remote off at any time in Lumo.

Your choices

You can revoke camera, microphone, speech recognition, and local network permissions in iOS Settings. You can delete local scripts and app data from your device using iOS and Lumo controls.
