Help with Lumo.

Practical answers for presenting with Lumo Teleprompter on iPhone and iPad.

Getting started

Create or open a script, then use the reader controls to set text size, speed, alignment, and mirror mode. Start scrolling when you are ready to present.

Auto-scroll and Voice Follow

Auto-scroll moves your script at the selected speed. For Voice Follow, allow Microphone and Speech Recognition when prompted, then select your preferred language. English and Spanish are supported. If on-device recognition is unavailable, review the Apple Online Speech consent prompt before continuing.

Camera and microphone access

Camera Mode needs Camera permission. Voice Follow and audio features need Microphone permission. If a permission was declined, open iOS Settings, choose Lumo, and enable the relevant permission.

External and Bluetooth microphones

Connect your external or Bluetooth microphone in iOS first. Lumo follows the active iOS audio route. If the microphone does not appear, reconnect it and confirm that iOS shows it as the active input before returning to Lumo.

Remote on your local network

Turn on Remote in Lumo, then use the displayed local pairing information on a device connected to the same local network. Allow Local Network access if iOS asks. Keep Remote turned off when you are not using it.

Mirror mode

Mirror mode flips the script horizontally for use with compatible teleprompter glass. Turn it off for normal on-screen reading.

Lumo Pro Lifetime and Restore Purchases

Lumo Pro Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase. To restore a previous purchase, open the Lumo Pro screen and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account that completed the purchase. Apple manages payment and purchase history.

Privacy

Read the Lumo Privacy Policy for details about on-device content, permissions, speech recognition, and local remote control.
